Curriculum - GCSE

The scheme for optional subjects in Years 9 to 11 is devised following consultation with pupils and parents. In Key Stage Four, all pupils must study English (language and literature), Mathematics, double / triple award Science, Business Studies, Humanities (History / Geography), Modern Foreign Languages (French / German), Religious Studies, non-examination physical education and personal, social and health education (tutorial). At the end of Year 11 pupils sit at least eleven GCSE examinations.

Unless there are exceptional circumstances, pupils are entered by the school for the examinations in all of the subjects they have studied.
