7The Skull Project: Year 7 students will be introduced to Observational Drawing & Observational Drawing Skills such as Schematic Drawing and Construction Lines. Students will develop their use of tone and how to convey tone within their observational drawing's using mark-making and dry materials.The Skull Project: Year 7 students will develop on the skills learnt in Term 1 by developing a range of ideas that link to a historical or, contemporary Artist's work, demonstrate their knowledge and further their handling of materials to form a well-rounded and meaningful Final Piece.
Gargoyles & Grotesques: Utilising former Observational Drawing Skills, students will study John Taylor-Arms whilst learning about the history of Lincoln Cathedral. Responding to a Design Brief set by Lincoln Cathedral, students will create a Mono-Print which discusses current global matters. Perspective: Year 7 students will create an imaginative interior bedroom using one-point perspective. Learning about the work of Victor Vasarely; students will create a work inspired Vasarely and present their understanding of colour theory.
The Pop Art Project: Year 7 Students will be introduced to the Pop Art Movement. Transcribing food-inspired works made famous by Andy Warhol & Claus Oldenburg using Collage and Relief techniques. Students will refine their material handling through maquette making.


The Pop Art Project: Year 7 Students will demonstrate their knowledge as well as, their handling of materials to form a well-rounded and meaningful Final Piece; a 3D sculpture referencing Claus Oldenburg's Giant Pop Art food inspired works.
8Natural Forms: Year 8 students will use their pre-existing Observational Drawing Skills utilising Schematic Drawing. Students will learn about the work of historical & contemporary Artists; transcribing their work in order to use their creative style to influence their own visual outcomes.Natural Forms: Year 8 students will develop on the skills learnt in Term 1 by developing a range of ideas that link to the work of three historical or, contemporary Artists. Students will demonstrate their knowledge and further their handling of materials to form an indepth Final Piece.Lincolnshire Landmarks: Utilising former Observational Drawing Skills, students will study the work of John Speed, whilst learning about the history of Cartography. Responding to the project theme, students create a selection of County Map ideas which combine historical and modern map aesthetics. Lincolnshire Landmarks: Students will refer to the work of contemporary Illustrators Rebecca Harrison & Bea Baranowska; Year 8 will develop their own illustrative language using both Harrison & Baranowska as a reference in order to create a meaningful County Map as a Final Piece.Identity:

Development of ideas in an A4 sketchbook linked to the theme of world culture. Drawings done from direct observation and secondary source images. Creative map art, collage, mixed media work, printing. Choice of three outcomes - mixed media piece, stamp design, vinyl record design.

11Natural Forms: Year 11 students will work from direct observation to inform their observational drawings; combining material exploration, experimentation, Artist research and annotation to form a visual timeline, responding to Natural Forms. Natural Forms:

12Introduction to A-Level course.
Experimental drawing, creating drawing tools, using ink, charcoal and mixed media techniques. Analysis and group discussions about historical and contemporary artists. Looking at landscape and producing a mixed media landscape slice.
Transformation and decay.

12Introduction to A-Level course and Unit 1 Geometric Shapes. Pupils will work on PowerPoint to develop ideas around the theme and linking to photographers.
Pupils will learn how to use a camera, pillars of photography (ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed), composition, lighting, framing and cropping.
Introduction to Photoshop and Unit 2 Movement. Pupils will work on PowerPoint to develop ideas around the theme and linking to photographers.
